Resolution

1. Insert your Windows Server 2003 CD and reboot from the CD drive

[To boot from CD, go to BIOS Setup option on startup and select your CD/DVD drive as the first boot drive, save the present settings and exit]

Your computer will reboot & will boot from Windows Server 2003

2. Press ‘R’ when offered the option of using the Windows Recovery Console

Recovery Console will prompt at the command prompt type the following:

C:\WINDOWS >cd system32\

this changes the current directory to C:\Windows\System32

ren config configold

This renames the config folder to configold

mkdir config

this makes a new directory called config

cd config

changes the current directory to c:\Windows\System32\Config

then type the following lines pressing enter after each one

copy c:\windows\repair\system

copy c:\windows\repair\software

copy c:\windows\repair\sam

copy c:\windows\repair\security

copy c:windows\repair\default

after each line it should say:

1 file copied

type: exit

Now Server will reboot

Jana Gana Mana” - Just a thought for the National Anthem!-
How well do you know about it?

I have always wondered who is the “adhinayak”
and “bharat bhagya vidhata”,whose praise we are singing.
I thought might be Motherland India!

Our current National Anthem “Jana Gana Mana” is
sung throughout the country.
Did you know the following about our national anthem, I didn’t.
To begin with, India’s national anthem, Jana Gana Mana Adhinayaka, was
written by Rabindranath Tagore in honour of King George V
and the Queen of England when they visited India in 1919.
To honour their visit Pandit Motilal Nehru had the five stanzas
included, which are in praise of the King and Queen.

(And most of us think it is in the
praise of our great motherland!!!)
In the original Bengali verses only those provinces that
were under British rule, i.e. Punjab, Sindh, Gujarat,
Maratha etc.were mentioned. None of the princely states
were recognized which are integral parts of India now Kashmir,
Rajasthan, Andhra, Mysore or Kerala.
Neither the Indian Ocean nor the Arabian
Sea was included, since they
were directly under Portuguese rule at that time.
The Jana Gana Mana Adhinayaka implies that
King George V is the lord of the masses and Bharata
Bhagya Vidhata is “the bestower of good fortune”.
Following is a translation of the five stanzas that
glorify the King:

First stanza: (Indian) People wake up remembering your
good name and ask for your blessings and they sing your glories.
(Tava shubha name jaage; tava shubha aashish maage, gaaye tava jaya gaatha)

Second stanza: Around your throne people of all religions
come and give their love and anxiously wait to hear your kind words.

Third stanza: Praise to the King for being the
charioteer, for leading the ancient travelers beyond misery.

Fourth stanza: Drowned in the deep ignorance and
suffering, poverty-stricken, unconscious country? Waiting for
the wink of your eye and your mother’s (the Queen’s) true
protection.

Fifth stanza: In your compassionate plans, the sleeping
Bharat (India)will wake up. We bow down to your feet O’ Queen,
and glory to Rajeshwara (the King).

This whole poem does not indicate any love for the
Motherland but depicts a bleak picture. When you sing Jana Gana
Mana Adhinayaka, whom are you glorifying?
Certainly not the Motherland. Is it God?
The poem does not indicate that.It is time now
to understand the original purpose and the implication of this,
Rather than blindly sing as has been done the past fifty years.

Nehru chose the present national anthem as opposed to
Vande Mataram because he thought that it would be easier for the band
to play!!! It was an absurd reason but Today for that matter bands have
advanced and they can very well play any music. So they can as well play

Vande Mataram, which is a far better composition in praise of our
Dear Motherland - India .

Wake up, it’s high time! Shouldn’t Vande Mataram be our National
Anthem.Come Join together to put Vande Mataram as our National
Anthem.

The name is good, the brand is big
But the work I do is that of a pig
The work or the brand; what is my way?
I don’t know if I should stay.
To work, they have set their own way
Nobody will care to hear what I say
My will be NULL, they wont change their way
I don’t know if I should stay.

The project is in a critical stage
But to do good work, this is the age
This dilemma is killing me day by day
I don’t know if I should stay.

The money is good, the place is great
But the development is at a very small rate
Should I go for the work, or wait for pay
I don’t know if I should stay!

The managers don’t know what they talk
The team doesn’t know where they walk
That’s a bad situation, what say?
I don’t know if I should stay.

I can go to any other place
But what if I get the same disgrace
I can’t keep switching day by day
I don’t know if I should stay.

The -ves are more, the +ves are less
Then why have this unnecessary mess
No more will I walk their way,
It’s all done, I won’t stay.

The decision is good or decision is bad
Only God knows still I am glad
Keep moving in life that is what I can say

If you feel right go in the same way
May god give you the work, the challenge you want
Anyway there is always a second chance
Chances are there, grab them snatch them
That is what I can say

Keep on jumping companies to get more and more and more….
That will keep you always a fore (Even to me)
From my experience I can tell you
Being in software development is like taking hell out of you
You are frustrated since you have no quality work
And you were frustrated because you had quantity work

It’s always like that previous job was better than thecurrent one
And expects the new job will be much better than this one
But what you get is a frustration level up to sun
Than you will again send the resignation like this one
This is all what I want to say

Have you completed all the formalities?
Filled the form and got it signed from department humanities(HR)
Once done you can take all your cash
But don’t refer others as they will follow you’re a*s.
At last I appreciate your contribution to the company
Even though there was not any….

You will keep a copy of this with you for FYI
Don’t feel shy
As I also got it some time back from my old manger sayHi….
That is all what I want to say.
